Privacy Notice

Last updated 15 August 2026.

This notice explains what Myanmar Talent Job does with the personal information you give us when you apply for a job through this site, or when you send us your CV directly. It is written to be read, not to be skipped.

Who handles your information

Myanmar Talent Job is a recruitment agency operating in Myanmar. We are the people who receive your application, read your CV, and decide whether to put you forward to an employer. No one else runs this site on our behalf.

Data protection rules in Myanmar are still developing. Rather than wait to be told, we have written down how we handle your information, following the standards expected of professional recruiters. These are commitments we hold ourselves to, and you may hold us to them.

What we collect

You give us:

  • Your name, mobile number, and — if you choose to give them — your email address and LinkedIn profile.
  • Your CV or resume file, and everything inside it. That is usually your work history, education, skills, and often your address, date of birth or photograph. We do not require any of those; we receive whatever your CV contains.
  • Anything you tell us during a call, an interview, or a message.

Our server also records ordinary technical information when a page is requested — the time, the page, and the browser type — which is used to keep the site working and to stop abuse.

Why we collect it

To do the job you came here for: to match you against roles we are hiring for, to put you forward to an employer, to arrange interviews, and to keep you informed about where your application stands.

We also keep a record of applications so that when a suitable role appears later, we can contact you instead of losing you.

Who we share it with

The employer hiring for the role. This is the point of applying, and it is the main way your information leaves us.

When we shortlist you, the employer receives your CV and our written summary of your background, sent securely and only to the people responsible for hiring that role.

We share your details with a specific employer for a specific role. We do not sell candidate data, we do not publish it, and we do not pass your CV around a market of employers who have not asked for it.

We may also disclose information if we are required to by a lawful order, or where it is necessary to protect someone from harm.

What we ask of employers

Once a CV reaches an employer, their handling of it is theirs, not ours. We cannot control what happens inside another company. What we can do is set the expectation, and we do:

We ask every employer we work with to use candidate information only to assess that candidate for the role it was sent for, to keep it to the people involved in that hiring decision, not to pass it to anyone else, and to dispose of it when the hiring is finished. If you tell us an employer has misused your information, we want to know — it changes who we are willing to work with.

How your information is stored

Your details and your CV are held in our recruitment system on a private server, reachable only over an encrypted connection. Access is limited to the people in this agency who do the recruiting work.

Backups are encrypted. What an employer can see is limited to the candidates we have put forward to them for a specific role, and we can withdraw that access at any time.

No system is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise. What we can say is that your information is not left in an open inbox or a shared spreadsheet.

AI-assisted drafting and summaries

When we enable an AI-assisted drafting or summary tool, we first remove direct contact details and other unnecessary personal information from the text sent to that service. Your original CV and full recruitment record remain with us.

These tools help our recruiters prepare material; they do not make hiring decisions, rank candidates, or reject applications. A recruiter remains responsible for every decision and communication.

How long we keep it

We keep your application while it is live, and afterwards so that we can consider you for future roles — this is usually what a candidate wants.

If you would rather we did not, tell us and we will delete your record. We may keep a minimal note that a deletion was requested, so that we do not re-import you from an old file.

Your choices

At any time you can ask us to:

  • Tell you what we hold about you.
  • Correct anything that is wrong.
  • Delete your record entirely.
  • Stop contacting you about new roles.
  • Not send your CV to a particular employer.

We will act on the request, and we will not charge you for it. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, because acting on an impostor’s request would be the greater failure.

Cookies and browser storage

This site sets a small cookie to remember whether you are reading in English or Burmese.

While you are applying, your name and contact details are held in your own browser so that applying to a second role is faster. That stays on your device and is cleared when you close the browser.

We use Google Analytics to understand how the public career site is used and to improve it. Google Analytics uses an analytics cookie and receives ordinary browser and connection information.

We do not use Google Analytics for advertising, remarketing, or decisions about candidates, and we do not send it your application details or CV.

We never ask candidates for money

Applying through this site is free, and it always will be. Recruitment fees are a matter between us and the employer; they never fall on the candidate.

We will never ask you for money, and we will never ask for your bank account details, card number, PIN, password or a one-time code. Please do not send us any of those — we have no use for them, and no genuine part of our process needs them. If your CV happens to contain financial details, we do not need them either.

If anyone claiming to represent us asks you for a fee, a deposit, a payment to secure a job or an interview, or for any financial or account details, it is not us. Please report it to us.

Changes to this notice

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page. The version you are reading is the one that applies today.
